Q: What is the difference between an INTENTION and a GOAL?

A: An intention is the reason WHY behind any goal you set for yourself. it’s a statement that describes what success looks and feels like in a particular area of your life.
 
Before you ever set any goals – whether it’s your finances, business, career, relationships etc – always start by setting a clear intention FIRST. What are you aiming for and why, you need to understand the reasons before it can become a goal. It’s like a long-term vision that you have for your future.
 
Creating Clear Goals
If you don’t set a clear intention you might create goals that lack meaning or direction, you may also feel discouraged and not connected to them which can result in you giving up, or you may achieve some results but not the ones that make you feel happy and fulfilled.
 
When you’re guided by a clear intention, and you set goals that are in-line with that intention, then everything is in alignment to make it all possible. Having that clear intention enables you to create goals that will become a reality.
 
Visualization
Once you have a clear intention and specific goals laid out, your next step is to visualize yourself achieving your goals on a daily basis. Try and do this at least a few times a day, as you’re waking up and also when you’re about to go to sleep, starting and ending your day on a positive note. See yourself as you want to be, successful, achieving the goal you’ve set out for yourself. And really feel as if you’ve already achieved it. See it, feel it, be it!
 
Take Action!

Take daily actions, no matter how big or small, towards making your goals happen. Stop putting things off and making excuses, just take those small action steps towards your goals, you’ll feel better for it. This is all about stepping out of your comfort zone and will also help to increase your confidence and self esteem as you do so. Combine all 4 of these powerful steps:

2. Creating clear goals
3. Visualization
4. Take action!
